Swimming is best around high tide, but not so good when the water is low due to jagged pieces of a wartime wreck which become exposed.

One of the less sheltered and child friendly beaches in Falmouth although there are many good rock pools to explore.

At times, if the tide is very high the whole of the shingle beach can be under water.

Safe bathing, lovely shallow water for swimming, great rockpools and ideal for snorkelling. I’ve been coming to this beach all my life….67 years! I love it!
