Perranporth is a well regarded surf beach picking up plenty of swell and with sufficient space to hold a crowd.
The beach is more sheltered towards the Droskyn Point end with the biggest waves piling into Penhale.
Perranporth beach is a good bet in the summer but being exposed to the wind and large swells it is often not such a good option in the winter.
