Crooklets - surfing

Crooklets is a well regarded surf spot with a variety of waves to suit all levels of surfer. To the north of the beach there is a righthander that breaks off Wrangles Rock which holds a fair size wave and can get quite hollow.

At the other end of the beach is Barrel Rock, a long left hander and in the middle, at high tide there is an infamous shore break. There is also a short right at Cross Rocks which is sometimes an option on blown out days

Due to it's proximity to the town, Crooklets can get pretty crowded. As a rule it is quieter further up towards Northcott Mouth.
