Porthguarnon is another small rocky cove along this stretch of coast that is just about accessible to most people. Situated just under a mile east of Penberth Cove, Porthguarnon sits at the foot of a shallow valley, nestled between granite cliffs.

The foreshore consists of the same sort of rocks and boulders found at neighbouring coves, so this isn't the kind of spot you'd want to lay your towel out or bring the kids.

Swimming is probably fine but not advised as this is a secluded spot and there are no lifeguards.
