Gwithian - surfing

Gwithian Surf

This is the beach I learnt to surf on. It provides consistent, quality waves suitable for all levels. It conveniently gets gradually bigger the further towards Godrevy you go - so you can find a wave to suit your ability (and kehonas!). Godrevy and Gwithian are for all intents and purposes opposite ends of the same beach so much of what is said there applies equally here

On a good day expect long walling lefts and rights with the possibility of a few barrels thrown in at low tide.

Optimum conditions are medium sized north coast swell and southerly round to easterly winds (south east is directly offshore)
