Polzeath - surfing

Polzeath surfer
Whilst Polzeath is often described as a great surf spot this isn't quite the case. It's a great spot for beginners and the odd day where other spots might be too big. The reason for this is the gradually shelving beach which produces slow breaking, relatively weak waves.

If you are looking for something a little more challenging there are plenty of great spots along this coast that will give even the best surfers a run for their money.
